Listen up everyone, It's kind of a bizarre trend but is totally worth it this Summer. Previously when browsing the Summer clothing around the high street I can't help but notice this finishing piece evolving onto clothing that's suddenly taking off as a trend in 2018. Tortoiseshell buttons is what it's all about right now.

I know it's incredibly specific but have you not been in the shops lately! Literally every skirt, playsuit & top is decorated with these fashionable items are kicking off 2018's Summer trends. Whatever item this is placed onto, it really works up a treat that makes an affordable item to look more expensive. Below is what's currently on Asos & I reckon there's at least one thing you're going to love!

This current look brings an art of sophistication that's taking over every new arrival so far. I like how bold & clean these look that's combined with a minimal colour palette. It happily places itself under the micro trend profile without even going OTT over everything. Tortoiseshell buttons feel so effortless but so stylish.

I feel like I'm behind on this trend as I don't own anything with the iconic tortoiseshell button. Perhaps a little browse on ASOS is in order after this!
