Hi all...

Through the days when Netflix took over my brain, there was one thing in particular that took my interest. I motivated myself to try something new, something that can at least be beneficial! I watched a little documentary called 'House of Z', which was telling the story of the young designer Zac Posen.

This documentary was about the rise, the fall & comeback of the charismatic fashion designer Zac Posen. Showing you how a born star dealt with the stress of failure and how he proceeded to become a successful designer once more.

It wasn't just about Posen's failure. What I really liked about the documentary was the structure, how they put it all together. Behind all the fame and misfortunes, it really focused on his childhood and inspirations. Creativity and imagination was religion to the ordinary boy who later grew up as a determined fashion designer showing collections all over the world and building a company with his Mother and Sister. Posen stepped into a world he was fascinated by, He liked the attention until it was negative attention and sooner or later became a parody of himself.

This is definitely somebody who is obsessed and indulges himself into creativity by far. In all honesty, I have never actually heard of the name Zac Posen. I wish I did as he surely is somebody with high energy and enthusiasm. Along with a personal voice, he has a sense of craftsmanship and is simply technically extraordinary.

I currently have tons of notes jotted in my notepad from the documentary as we speak!

I felt quite inspired whilst watching this. This is a perfect example of how fame and standing in the spotlight can have negative effects on you, other people and how it can manipulate you into somebody unrecognisable. You're most likely wanting to become somebody the audience will love rather than yourself.

If you're one who is intrigued or perhaps loves fashion I would highly recommend you watching this documentary on Netflix. You won't regret it.

With Love,

A x
