Top Places to Visit

Welcome back...
A few blog posts back I talked about my future 'goals for 2018', one goal I have in mind is travelling. There was only one minor detail though (but can probably be something quite huge for you) and that is I've never been out of the UK. Basically I haven't lived.
I hope one day that can all change, bizarre as it sounds I would love the opportunity to travel to many places as possible. I know plenty of people who have gone to different places around the world, they absolutely love it and it has become a sort of tradition for them to take a trip every year either somewhere new or to their "second home" I would say.
Like any other person would say, I am most definitely missing out. So I need to fill the whole in my heart and get myself on a flight.
Not that the weather is doing us any justice right now but when summer is officially begun (it feels like a long way until then) hopefully I'll be more inspired to take off for a summer vacation. So far I am mostly fuelled by the amazing photography I keep finding on Instagram that is giving me the holiday blues. I decided to write an on going list of places both in and outside of Europe I would like to visit. Even though sunbathing on the beach all day sounds appetising, I would love to explore different cultures, food and main attractions these have to offer. Saying this I've probably added another three places in my head as we speak.
Here goes...
Amsterdam

There's so many things to do in Amsterdam. Somehow this place has it all, surrounded by quiet canals, artistic heritage and it's quirky edginess. I am also fascinated by the history, for example The Anne Frank house has been something I've wanted to visit ever since I've learned about her story way back in my school history lessons. Already, I can say that this is my first weekend get-a-way & I deserve to find new things to see and do in a matter of days. I love it's brick buildings I see in images, rich history and I've heard plenty about the relaxed, easy going attitude towards life.
Barcelona

Barcelona is a huge city so you'll at least find something unexpected. I'm motivated to staying busy and to see and do the greatest city highlights. I'll need to make time to go to the beach because apparently that's what everyone raves about! A visit to the beautiful Spanish city means that you'll get a healthy dose of art, amazing architecture and surrounded by culture.
There's one blogger I particularly found interesting when researching what to do in Barcelona, the list goes on. 'Barcelona Blonde' known as Jessica, lives in Barcelona and frequently posted her adventures around the city.
New York

The concrete jungle where dreams are made. New York City truly has something for everyone and so many things to do, places to eat and drink, places to exhibit. Whatever mood you're in there's always something to find in the city that new sleeps. It is definitely a unique experience and most possibly something for everyone's bucket list. The Times Square, The Statue of Liberty, Central Park is only a few places out of so many that are the tourist hotspots.
Tracey's New York Life, one of many bloggers who I found with strong taste about The cities culture & lifestyle. Tracey began her New York blog as a hobby, a way to document her experiences after moving to Manhattan and now offers the best tips of living, food, culture and travel.
Corfu

Corfu, Greece is among the most beautiful. It has charming character, beautiful beaches & relaxation. Corfu to me is a long summer get-a-way, something I have always wanted to plan for sometime and has always been in my head when planning a summer holiday. Either for a couple or a group of friends, it has something special for everyone. At least it sounds a lot more appetising than a typical British Holiday, hopefully the weather can do a lot more promising.
Paris

Paris, the city of love, the fashion capital of the world & the global centre for art and culture. If I ever make this plan to go to Paris for the first time, I probably have the same punch list of attractions to hit like everybody else. The Eiffel Tower of course, the first top pick from traveller's minds. Although I'm such a big kid, so I'd say a day to Disneyland Paris is probably my top choice in all honesty. I'd probably love the fascination of French cuisine, artistic treasures and definitely the chic boutiques.
This is just only the few of many places I've set my eyes on. I hope you enjoyed this post!
With Love
