Event Inspiration

'Event' is the outcome I needed to create for my summative project. So, perhaps I needed to research particular events that are keen to me. Maybe I needed to research the characteristics and key aspects first before finalising my outcome. Possibly being a time where I actually organised my ideas, I did some digging about the ups and downs on creating an event. How do brands and companies use this? What are its limits? Etc...

Well public events have the ability to attract thousands, especially when they become a success. It is about having the passion for what you do, having a vision for detail and to be prepared for the result.

Events are carried out to create a platform to connect with consumers. Fashion Brands for example, a fashion show reveals to the world of the up to date fashion trends and you can't forget that this creates major success for the brand.

But behind close doors, events are challenging. Whether a particular event has success or not, it may always be limited.

First thing first, the running time of an event. This could go on for hours or even days and perhaps the timings are unpredictable. Technically a schedule of a show can be unrealistic.

Second point I needed to make! How would you ever stick to a budget? As budgets are over run and not met.

What about the number of places? If it is not a public event, anything else may have a limited number of places, sticking to a smaller range of an audience.

However, the only way is up and events within brands and companies still have major success to the business. Keeping a popular reputation with their audience. Like fashion brands, a fashion show is showcased to the public not just to impress buyers and editors, but you also generate publicity and social media buzz. Besides, you know it catches your attention too when new products and trends are unleashed. Every show/event generates a huge amount of buzz and to be honest, I'm not surprised by the huge popularity companies and brands achieve.

Of course I couldn't do this without researching ideas on pinterest. I'm just getting my daily dose of inspiration using this app.
