What is Fashion Communication? What is Fashion Promotion?

First thing first, it is NOT just about making clothes. Like myself this is for people who are passionate about fashion but do not want to take the design route. This focuses on how Fashion can be communicated and promoted creatively through mixed media. You are able to push yourself further into different directions like styling, photography, graphics, retail design, fashion writing and advertising. Whenever I tell people what I am studying they immediately think of designing clothes. Although you have the few individuals questioning what this course involves. Well it is about taking your own route. It is about taking an idea beyond the expectations and developing the idea further through your own style. With fashion promotion you are able to manipulate the behaviour of others. Especially if you are selling a product. It is all about your way of communicating a product or even a message to the consumer. How will you be able to make a sale? Well perhaps forming a relationship with the consumer is key, understanding their thoughts and what they love and hate. Studying Fashion C&P it is certain that you have to be one step ahead. Why? It is how you or a brand represents themselves and of course you need to be confident, positive and a keen eye. It gives yourself a perfect image. What can you do with this as a career? In future career roles included are web design, marketing, fashion branding buying and merchandising. Studying fashion C&P gives knowledge and learning skills to apply different media methods through the fashion industry.
